Information you choose to share

Inquiry forms collect your name, email, message, and the contact or property details you provide. They also record the type of request, the page it came from, the time received, and your agreement to be contacted. Please include only information needed to discuss your request.

Responding to your inquiry

Your details are used to respond, arrange a conversation or requested property search, and maintain a record of that request. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. You can ask Shane to stop following up at any time.

Hosting, email, and security

The website uses Google Firebase for hosting and private data storage, Resend for email notifications, and Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated submissions. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Processing may take place outside Canada.

Security checks and submission limits help prevent misuse. The website keeps limited records of submission counts, verification outcomes, duplicate requests, and delivery status. Private inquiry details are not included in general website analytics.

Website and property-sign analytics

Where enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and actions such as successful inquiries or contact clicks. Property-sign links record scans, button actions, broad device type, and an identifier stored in a cookie to distinguish repeat visits. Blocking cookies or analytics in your browser may reduce this measurement. Calling or emailing Shane directly does not require the inquiry form.

Retention and requests

Inquiry records are retained to respond to requests, manage follow-up, and meet applicable recordkeeping needs. If you want to access or correct information you submitted, request its deletion, or discuss retention, contact Shane. Some information may need to be retained for transaction, legal, or brokerage recordkeeping purposes.
